Fixing the Keyboard & Mouse Preferences loading

Right after I changed my system's language (refer to this post), I came across this strange problem: My Keyboard & Mouse Preferences pane was not loading!

It seems this problem it not that uncommon, and after a bit of Googling I found a solution:

Open your Leopard DVD with Pacifist, and using the search box, find and extract the file Keyboard.prefPane (refer to this post for the use of Pacifist).

Place the extracted file in /System/Library/PreferencePanes, and replace the existing file.

No need to reboot. Just re-open the Preferences->Keyboard & Mouse pane, and it will be fixed!
